The Directorate of Social Welfare (DSW) is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all activities concerning welfare and empowerment of women and children in the state. It ensures proper enforcement & execution of Juvenile Justice Act, legislations pertaining to child protection and special schemes for the development of women.
